Could the "story book" playoffs
continue to a championship for
the "War"?  Remember how they
got here; down 5 - 0, they clawed
their way to a 6 - 5 double overtime
victory in the crossover.  Do they
have anything left? Physically?
Emotionally?  The Makos would
soon find out!

Big Crowd!  Fast Ice!  Hot outside,
Cool inside!  Game On!

Makos draw blood first, Ryan Flynn
with a nifty shot, assist to John
Bassett.  Nine minutes later, Ryan
Flynn strikes again, help from

John Basset (again) & Matt Cologgi.  But 30 seconds later, the Man o' War showed why they were here; Max Papele with a great
backhand pass to Riley Irving, who finished. Ninety seconds later, Pete Sacks scored for the War, assists to Grant Stockman &
Evan Cavert.  Period #1 ends - Makos 2 - Man o' War 2.

Period #2 opens with end to end action!  At the 13:04 mark, Matt Cologgi with a spectacular TTI (Timely Tip In), assists to
Ryan Flynn & John Bassett, Makos 3 - 2 .  Five minutes later,  Ryan Flynn rushes the puck up the  ice, John Bassett to the
rescue with the tip in goal,  Makos 4 - 2.  Man o' War was bending........would they break?  Are they out of petro?  OMG -
Truman Gonzales,  cross ice - no look pass to Josh DeMerchant........ S-N-I-P-E!   4 - 3 Makos.  A minute later Pete Sacks
with a tip pass to Evan Cavert, who dekes the goalie & scores......... 4 - 4,  folks we are tied!  Five minutes later, DeMerchant
returns the favor to Truman Gonzales who flicks the puck in the net to give the Man o' War the lead 5 - 4.  Mako's then
answer, Ryan Flynn with a rip, off the post and in the net, assist to Matt Cologgi.  Period #2 ends - Makos 5,   Mano'War 5.

Period #3 the game tightens up, quality chances alot less.  Neither teams wants to give an inch, back & forth through the
neutral zone.  Finally at the 3:41 mark, the "War" goes ahead 6 - 5 with Evan Cavert scoring from his knees,  assist to
Riley Irving.  Less then a minute later, Mr. Mako - Ryan Flynn, cutting across the crease, scores to tie the game and send
it into overtime.  Assists on the play to Matt Cologgi & Nick Hart.

!st Overtime, goaltenders come up big, both teams cautious.  Period ends  6 - 6.
2nd Overtime, things open up, and at the 3:23 mark of the 2nd overtime (3 on 3)  Ryan Flynn scores the game winner,
unassisted,  on a breakway!  Mako's are the KOH Pee Wee Champions!

Congratulations to both teams for getting to this final game...... hats off to the Man o' War team for never giving up!
