As part of the Skateboarding is Unstoppable campaign, professional skateboarders MTN DEW, Sean Malto, Mariah Duran, Theotis Beasleyand Chris Colbourn, and popular content creators will take to the streets in July for a series of “Unlock the Spot” events held in the athletes’ hometowns. Each event will give local skaters the opportunity to ride on otherwise off-limits skate spots across the country. The tour will take place in early July and will end at the Summer Dew Tour in Des Moines, Iowa. Key locations will include:

  • Burlington, Vermont with Chris Colbourn
  • Inglewood, California with Theotis Beasley
  • Albuquerque, New Mexico with Mariah Duran
  • Kansas City, Missouri with Sean Malto
  • Des Moines, IowaSummer Dew Tour with the whole MTN DEW skate team

The Unlock the Spot Tour will end in Des Moines, Iowa during the highly anticipated Summer Dew Tour where the best skaters from around the world will compete in street and park competitions at Lauridsen Park, the largest skate park in the country. The two-day festival will be free and open to the public. The Skateboarding is Unstoppable campaign will also include a full video montage highlighting the tour and real-life testimonials from riders across the country about what drives them to skate, whether it’s the thrill of nailing a new trick or being part of the movement. who elevated skateboarding to the biggest sports scene in the world.
