Nielsen inks 10 to 2023 Signing Class

ANN ARBOUR, Mich. – University of Michigan women’s lacrosse head coach Hannah Nielsen announced Wednesday, November 9, the signing of the 10-person recruitment class of 2023 to the National Letters of Intent. The list includes Emma Bradbury, Rowan Clancy, Lucy Davis, Isabelle DiNanno, Emile Goodloe, Allie Hartmann, Laila Kostorowski , Kennedy Meier , Stella Nolanand Emerson Patillo.

The Class of 2023 includes four midfielders, three forwards, two defenders and a goalkeeper hailing from six different states.

“I am thrilled to announce that these exceptional young women are the future Wolverines,” Nielsen said. “It’s been a long process, and it’s exciting to make it official today. I’m proud that this class continues the trend of our recruiting program at various locations and I know these athletes will have an immediate impact at their arrival. We can’t wait to have them on campus.”

Emma bradbury | A | 5-7 | Blue Bell, Pennsylvania | Club: HHH Philadelphia

• Prepared for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy where she will be a four-year letter winner
• Twice named to the Nike America Select Pennsylvania Team
• Was a first-team All-Inter-Ac selection as a junior and earned second-team honors as a sophomore
• Won first-team All-Philly Women’s Lacrosse as a junior
• Led his high school team in goals and draw checks in both sophomore and junior
• Had a team-high 106 points in his junior season
• Named to the Philadelphia Tournament National Team in her second campaign
• Selected to the Under Armor Philadelphia Command team entering its first season
• Was All-America honored for Philadelphia Command
• Named to WPLL Futures
• Selected at the Under Armor Callback Academy
• Helped the Maverick NLC Pennsylvania team win a championship
• Plays club lacrosse for HHH Philadelphia

• Prepared for Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School where she will be awarded a four-year letter
• Named All-American Under Armor
• Averaged a better team with two balls on the ground and one caused turnover per game
• Was selected as the only junior captain
• Was named lead captain for her senior campaign
• Plays club lacrosse for Capital Lacrosse Club, 2023 Blue – which is ranked top 15 nationally
• Invited to try out for National U18 Development Team
• Selected to participate in the First Class Committed Games
• Named to the Inside Lacrosse ID Experience All-Tournament Team
• Helped his team win the USA National Lacrosse Tournament Orange Division Championship
• Twice named to the Under Armor 150 and a Nike Elite 120 guest

Lucy Davis | M | 5-7 | Sudbury, Massachusetts | Club: Mass Elite

• Prepared for Lincoln-Sudbury Regional where she will be a four-year letter winner
• Named Boston Globe “Player to Watch” in Division I State Tournament
• Named an Eastern Massachusetts, Dual County League and Metrowest Daily News All-Star as a junior
• Led his high school team to their first national semi-final in 10 years
• Helped his team win a Dual County League regular season championship
• Named team captain during her junior season
• Won USA Lacrosse College Honors
• Play club lacrosse for Mass Elite
• Helped Team 1 Mass/RI win a championship in the top division at the 2022 USA Women’s National Lacrosse Tournament
• Played for Mass 2023 at Nike American Select
• Was team captain for her high school football team where she was a starter for four years
• Selected as Eastern Mass All-Start and DCL All-League Honor after her senior season

Isabella DiNanno | M | 5-5 | Wilton, Connecticut | Club: Gold Coast Lacrosse

• Prepared for Wilton High School where she will be a winner of four years
• Named All-FCIAC in her junior campaign
• Won the 2022 FCIAC Lifetime Teammate Award given to a female high school athlete who supports her classmates beyond the playing field
• Named lacrosse, ice hockey and soccer captain for her senior seasons
• Plays club lacrosse for Gold Coast Lacrosse

Emileigh hello | G | 5-7 | Fairfax, Virginia | Club: VA Metro 23 Black

• Prepared for the Lycée de Chantilly where she will be laureate for 4 years
• Selected for School Girls at the US Lacrosse Women’s National Tournament
• Named All-Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association second-team All-State as a junior
• Won All-Met Women’s Lacrosse and was selected to the All-Independent School League First Team during her junior campaign
• Twice selected for the Nike American Select VA/MD/DC team
• Named to the Athletes Unlimited Futures team
• Play club lacrosse for VA Metro 23 Black

Ally hartman | M | 5-4 | Longmont, Colorado | Club: Team 180

• Prepared for Silver Creek High School and played lacrosse at Fairview High School where she was a letter winner for three years
• Will play his senior season for Mead High School
• Is a two-time Eastern League first-team winner
• Named second team 5A All-State as a sophomore and honorable mention as a junior
• Helped his team win back-to-back conference championships
• Plays club lacrosse for the 180 team, which is ranked 16th nationally

Laila Kostorowski | D | 5-4 |Washington, D.C. | Club: Capital Lacrosse Club 2023 Blue

• Prepared for Sidwell Friends School where she will be a four-year winner
• Named to the 2021 DC/VA American Select Team
• Helped his team to a National School Girls Tournament championship
• Had a .600 draw control winning percentage as a junior
• Named team captain for her senior season

kennedy Meyer | M | 5-8 |Wilmette, Ill. | Club: Team One Wildcat 2023

• Prepared for New Trier Township High School where she will be awarded a four-year letter
• Was a USA Lacrosse All-American
• Earned All-State First-Team honors as a second and junior
• Twice named Central Suburban All-Conference and Central Suburban League All-Sectional
• Helped his team win a state championship in his junior season and was named team MVP
• Sets single-season record for draw checks (150) and ranks second all-time in single-game draw check wins (18)
• Ranks third all-time in career draw control wins (230)
• Guest at USA Lacrosse U18 National Team Combine
• Plays club lacrosse for Team One Wildcat 2023, which is the #1 ranked team in the Midwest

Stella Nolan | A | 5-8 | New Canaan, Connecticut | Club: Connecticut Grizzlies

• Prepared for New Canaan High School where she will be awarded a four-year letter
• Earned All-State First-Team honors as a junior
• Named first team All-FCIAC during his junior season
• Helped his team win back-to-back FCIAC championships and led his team to a state championship during his junior campaign
• Finished third in the state in his second season and helped the team to an undefeated regular season
• Plays club lacrosse for the Connecticut Grizzlies, which is the #1 ranked club program in Connecticut
• Helped the team win two Lax for the Cure championships
• Was a member of the 2019 NGLL National Championship Team
• Is a two-time guest at the US National Lacrosse Championships
• Competed twice at the National Indoor Lacrosse Championship
• Helped his team to a 2018 Lax by the Sea Championship

Emerson patilo | A | 5-5 | Wilton, Connecticut | Club: Connecticut Grizzlies

• Prepared for Wilton High School where she will be a winner of four years
• Earned All-State First-Team honors as a sophomore
• Named All-Fairfield County Interscholastic Conference First Team in second campaign
• Helped his team reach the state quarter-finals
• Led his team in goals and ranked second in points and draw checks, while starting all 18 games
• Team ranked 18th nationally in their second season
• Missed his junior campaign due to injury
• Received the Leadership Award as a junior
• Elected team captain for her senior season
• Plays club lacrosse for the Connecticut Grizzlies, which is the #1 ranked club program in Connecticut
• Helped Under Armor All-American Command Team CONNY to a National Championship in 2020
• Helped the team win two Lax for the Cure championships
• Was a member of the 2019 NGLL National Championship Team
