St. Pete Pier to transform for the very first winter beach

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – St. Pete’s Pier will transform into a “winter wonderland by the water” for the first-ever winter beach celebration this holiday season.

The event, which features an outdoor skating rink, festive food and a holiday market, will begin at 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 20.

According to a press release, skaters can enjoy “breathtaking views of the bay and downtown while skating under the sky.”

Guests attending the Winter Beach festivities can also look forward to holiday music, photos with Santa Claus, snow days, themed skating nights, music concerts and a holiday movie night. .

“We are incredibly excited to unveil Winter Beach, a new St. Petersburg vacation tradition like no other,” said Colliers International Senior Real Estate Director Juniper Duffin. “From the real ice rink and snow to the diverse market and weekly themed events, this holiday season at St. Pete Pier is going to be truly spectacular.”

Entry to Winter Beach is free, but customers must purchase tickets to ice skate. Tickets are on sale now for $ 17, which includes 75-minute skating access and skate rentals, according to a press release.
